eFlora Keralam is an online botanical database created to provide a comprehensive, updated account of all seed-bearing plants (Gymnosperms and Angiosperms) found in the state of Keralam. The initiative aims to make reliable plant information easily accessible to researchers, students, conservationists, and nature enthusiasts.

The database was developed by Dr. N. Sasidharan, a distinguished scientist who served at the Kerala Forest Research Institute for 36 years. His extensive field explorations across diverse ecosystems of Kerala, combined with deep expertise in plant taxonomy, laid the scientific foundation for this digital flora. Drawing upon decades of hands-on research, specimen documentation, and taxonomic study, eFlora Keralam reflects a lifetime of botanical scholarship.
